Warren is a graduate of Auburn University.  After the Navy was finished with him, he worked with Jamison, Money, Farmer & Company in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, earning his CPA certificate.  He moved to Boulder, Colorado and attended Law School at the University of Colorado, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree and passed the bar.

He practiced law in Boulder for more than twenty years, concentrating in  taxation and the needs of small businesses and their owners.  He was licensed in all Colorado and Federal courts, as well as in the U.S. Tax Court and the United States Supreme Court.  In his "spare" time, he co-owned and operated a ranch of registered Hereford cows and served on the Board of Directors of what is now the American Hereford Association.

Family considerations brought him back to Alabama, where he co-founded NetWest, Inc., a hardware and software development company, which was later sold to a Huntsville aerospace contractor.

Warren is licensed as a CPA in both Alabama (#904) and Tennessee (#20362).  He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of CPAs, Alabama Society of CPAs, Colorado Society of CPAs, Colorado Bar Association, American Bar Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America.  His law license is valid, but inactive.

He is an instrument rated commercial pilot, an avid fly fisherman and wood carver, and plays banjo with the bluegrass band "Special Delivery."

Warren and his wife, Cyndie, a Realtor with Tennessee Real Estate, chose Townsend as the best place on earth to spend their lives.

As he always has been, Warren is dedicated to providing his clients with value and integrity, and welcomes your inquiry to see how his services can benefit you.
